A review and outlook for doubleskin facade research

Presents the methods and achievements of the thermal performance study at home and abroad for doubleskin facade in three aspects: basic mechanism of heat transfer process, combination with building operation modes, and life cycle assessment. Considers that doubleskin facade design should be brought into the whole building design processes, and corresponding aid design methods and tools should be adopted for doubleskin facade in different phases of building design in order to obtain the high performance doubleskin facade.
